God still works.
are you paying attention?
As I sat outside a few mornings ago before the world came to life, the birds could not stop singing. Luke 19:39 says that even if we keep quiet, the rocks will cry out to God, praising Him! Surely, this morning, the birds were praising their maker.
I sat up straight, took a deep breath, and asked God to speak to me. As I opened my eyes, I looked up and saw the clouds, but with fresh eyes. The clouds were moving, very slowly, but they were indeed moving. I had not noticed them before, but the clouds were always moving. It required me to pause, look intently, and see them at work. This is same with our relationship with God.
Today, take the time to pause, sit up straight, take a deep breath, ask God to speak to you as you look up and around you. You never know where you might see God moving and at work. And when the day comes to a close, I bet that you will be able to answer the question, “How did I see God at work today?”
